Only 1% of LinkedIn Users Create Content
How do you become one of the 1% gang?
You write content, even if you struggle, you should get started and make more of your LinkedIn account. All of my business comes from what I have done on LinkedIn
Here's my thoughts for this week. Every week I create a newsletter to help you to write your own content.
How was your week?
What have you done in the last week that you can write about? There has to be something. Have you been busy or maybe you're trying to cram everything in because of the holiday season looming?
I am so Overwhelmed
Not because of the work, but because last week was just the most amazing week for me following the launch of my book. Everyone has been so kind and generous with their comments, help, support and even buying the book.
I've also had some lovely reviews on Amazon. Now that is weird!
My feed on LinkedIn was off the scale and I guess that if you commented on my posts you may have seen increased activity on your profile too. It would be interesting to hear how you got on this week if you did.
Because of the busy week, there will be lots to write about.
I started doing a gratitude post on a Friday and noticed a few other people following suit. It's a great way for us to realise how well we are actually doing and a great opportunity to say thanks publicly.
Here's Friday's Gratitude post if you missed it or would like some ideas.
What are you grateful for?
Have a great week and please shout if you have any questions
all the best
Ashley
PS. Did I mention my new book? It's on Amazon HERE if you want 101 Content Ideas
More new ideas for YOU to create content this week
There is content everywhere and by doing a little bit each week you'll soon get into the habit of creating content. You'll get into a swing and start thinking about content more often.
Before you'll be writing a book too! Honest, how do think I got this far, just a little bit of content a few times a week and then a bit more to where I am now with 7 new posts every week.
If you want a hand, please shout.
There are some different ideas this week, so come on, what's stopping you?

Do you want to meet me and other local business owners here in Sidmouth?
If you missed the first ever LinkedIn Local (Sidmouth) And the second one and the next one?
Please do not worry. We are here to stay and will be bringing this informal networking meeting to you on the 4th Thursday of every second month.
Our Fourth event is in November
I love LinkedIn and I love Sidmouth, so why not combine them both?
There are not many networking opportunities for us here in East Devon so I'm seeing what interest we can get in our lovely town. It's not for profit, there's no agenda, it's just a platform to meet local like-minded business people on our doorstep rather than having to dash around the countryside.
I'll be sharing some LinkedIn tips and we'll also have the lovely Odessa Sherreard on hand to tell us a little about how we can construct great content on our social media.
But more importantly, there will be plenty of time to meet new people and catch up with old friends. It's a networking event, not a sales event, nor is it a space for top speakers. Proper informal and friendly, so if you are hoping to pitch your business and make loads of sales, then maybe this is not for you.
The Lovely Daisy and Simon from the Balfour Arms are giving up their time and their wonderful restaurant to enable us to host this for free, but as she is putting on Breakfast Baps and free tea and coffee we've kept the costs down to a nominal £3.00 (includes Eventbrite fees)
Here's how it all started
In June of 2017, LinkedIn Local was started in Australia by Anna McAfee because she to wanted to meet her LinkedIn connections offline and used the #LinkedInLocal in the post. Piquing other people's interest, #LinkedInLocal went global to 4 global communities in its first month and quickly fanned a flame that set the world alight.
Over 2 years the community grew from the initial 4 cities to 1,000+ communities, in 1,000 cities and 100 countries run by LinkedIn users for LinkedIn users. It was an organic grass-roots movement centred around the values of Authenticity, Inclusivity, Collaboration and Respect.
“LinkedIn Local™ is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation and is used under license. However, this event is not sponsored or operated by LinkedIn.”

We have a few places in Sidmouth this Thursday. BOOK HERE
