This is my level of views to my proifle. I have nearly 6,000 followers, so not bad interest.

For me, it's
✅ The striking colours in nature.
✅ Evenings snuggling on the sofa with Debbie.
✅ Jumpers and my winter wardrobe.
✅ Dogs are allowed on the beach.
✅ Less grass cutting.
✅ Not feeling guilty for Early nights.
✅ Stews and soups.

OMG, my car passed it’s MOT so this was something to celebrate and I thought that I would share it to see what other people feellike when they pass.
Or fail!

When you have to prepare for something you can build a lot of pressure and make the whole experience daunting or even scary.
In my head, I had written off my old car as it has had a FAIL in the past. I was telling myself to get ready for a big expense. I was worried about all the ramifications of having a failed car.
It's funny what our brain does to us eh?
That old neuroscience thing coming into play. 🤦♂️
How do you cope when your brain takes over?
Here are some tips that I use
✅ Write down your worries.
✅ Talk to someone
✅ Work out a worst-case scenario
✅ Focus on the positives

My engagement is pretty ropey this week, so I needed to pull something out of the bag.
A poll is an easy way to engage with a post and because I asked a question that people want to engage with this one really worked.
I am also planning a book launch, so this is great way to start sparking interest.
Would you have a launch party if you wrote a book? Or is it money that you should be spending on a marketing plan?
My Book is just about ready and I'm now thinking of the launch.

❓ Evening or during the day?
I want to celebrate the actual achievement of getting it written and published as I never thought I would be a writer (ask my English teacher 😂 )
I have a few friends who'd travel miles to be there and a number of other lovely business people who would come and support me, so it should be a bit of fun, a good bash, and a great networking event.
Do I hold it in a swanky venue, keep costs more in line with my young business's income or do I do something else?
I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on something in November.

We are doing an event so we needed to get this out. These types of post are good to get people to events, but not so good for engagement.
But we do get to invite people to the event!!

I sent this message when I got spammed yesterday.
I then got a string of abuse and then he blocked me.
Seems that it is okay to spam someone but not so good if you get spammed back. 🤦♂️
LinkedIn is a lovely place to network, find out stuff and generally have a bit of fun, make friends and grow our businesses.
Such a shame when this happens, but fortunately I do not get too many emails like this, but this did make me giggle. 🤭

It's lonely and tough being a business owner, but with so many people who love helping we'll all get there. I'm moving my business forward and, by reflecting on the week, it reminds us how far we've got. Even a few steps are a gain eh?
